About Susan  Kelleher

When I was 5, my mother made a little school house for me. From that moment I knew I wanted to be a teacher. I have been very fortunate to have taught in Kittitas my whole career. There is no place more beautiful than our Valley and no better school. We are so lucky to have the best students, parents, and staff. Teaching first grade is an adventure and I'm always amazed at the academic and social growth of the students. Outside of school, I love being with my own kids. I have two sons and two daughters and enjoy our travels together. I also love to read and bake.

Mission Statement

I try to create a child-centered environment where children can be successful and feel valued. I think it's important for students to be active participants in their learning and to know that they have just begun the exciting adventure of being life-long learners!
