About Rocky  Gibson

Personal- I have a family that consists of my wife, Bonnie, my kids, Hannah (11), Bailey (8), Cade (4) and myself. They mean everything to me!! I am also passionate about education, sports, and the outdoors. My favorite teams are the Pittsburgh Steelers, Boston Red Sox, and the team formerly known as the Seattle Supersonics. A couple things I am especially proud of aside from family are winning the 1988 State Baseball Championship here at Kittitas High School and Coaching my daughters team this past summer that made it to the 12U Babe Ruth Softball World Series in Audubon, PA. Eduction- 1990 - Thorp High School Graduate 1999 - Central Washington Unversity Graduate 1999 - Vocationally Certified 2004 - Walden University-Masters Degree in Education 2008 - 10th year Teaching Industrial Arts

Mission Statement

My mission as an educator is to give my students the opportunity to grow to their social, academic, and vocational potential. The educational philosophy which is based on "performance" and a hands-on approach is, in my opinion, the most effective way to achieve this mission.
